However, I'm sticking to the idea of getting a mixer because I don't really want to rely my recording on my computer and a software, so mixers look more interesting to me, considering I already have a Tascam DR-05 recorder. I understand that mixers would be recommended mainly for live podcasting, while audio interfaces would allow you to edit each voice track, dispite the fact that audio interfaces are easier to get up and running.
